Properties Conserved

Protecting the Places That Make Westmoreland County Special

Westmoreland Land Trust has permanently conserved more than 740 acres of forests, meadows, streams, farmland, wildlife habitat, and scenic landscapes throughout the county. Working in partnership with regional conservation organizations, local municipalities, and dedicated landowners, our mission is to protect land permanently.

While some properties continue to be owned and stewarded by Westmoreland Land Trust, others are conveyed to trusted public and nonprofit partners to ensure their long-term protection and public benefit. This work is made possible through the generosity of our philanthropic partners, members, volunteers, and community supporters.

Explore the map below to discover the diverse places that have been protected for wildlife, clean water, outdoor recreation, environmental education, and future generations.
