In May 2022, Apex Engineering completed an Environmental Site Assessment for the property.

In January 2024, Fahringer McCarty Grey Inc. completed preparation of a Stewardship Plan for the St. Xavier Nature Preserve.

In February 2024, THG Geophysics completed a Geophysical Investigation at the St. Xavier Nature Preserve to locate the foundations of the buildings of the former St. Xavier Academy and Convent.

On November 15, 2024, WLT’s Board approved a Master Plan prepared by landscape architect Richard Rauso encompassing parking areas, roadways and trails, wetlands, field areas, and woodlands, signage, interpretive materials and other visitor amenities.
